Description of Project: | This is a universal robot cell. It includes a six-axis welding robot located on a linear module and two positioners of the workpieces rotary mechanism located along the linear module. The first positioner is a two-axis positioner with an elevated payload where each axis serves as the robot additional axis, thus ensuring controlled rotation of a workpiece during the welding. The second positioner is a single-axis positioner with an adjustable headstock ensuring controlled rotation in horizontal plane during the welding process. To adjust the welding torch movements and track the welds, the robot is fitted with a special design laser scanner with the beam operating length up to 250 mm. |
